It used to be fine all the time; there were no customer complaints at all, and our product quality enjoys a very good reputation among customers. Through communication, we went to the client’s site, bringing with us the open-cup flash point testing method—per national standards. The retained sample was tested once, and its flash point was satisfactory, being higher than the national standard requirements. Then the client’s laboratory staff conducted a test as well, and the flash point was 10 degrees lower than the national standard. However, there were irregularities in the operations of the customer’s laboratory technicians: the thermometer was inserted too shallowly, and the ignition rod was tilted downward. By repeating the test using the national standard methods, the flash point becomes higher than that specified by the standard. Therefore, the testing methods must be correct: the thermometer should be inserted about 6 mm above the bottom of the crucible; inserting it too shallowly will result in readings that are lower than the actual value ; The ignition rod must be moved back and forth horizontally over the crucible; an inclination downward will also result in measured values that are lower than the actual values.
I’ve never tested this thing; it’s the first time I’ve heard of it!

As raw materials, customers should have their own testing systems.
I suggest you create another user manual to avoid such unnecessary troubles in the future. Money and manpower are easy to obtain, but reputation is not.
