Based on CNOOC’s \"CNOOC Safety Signaling Practices,\" 18 fundamental safety practices that must be followed were identified. Participate in emergency drills at least once a year. These six requirements call on leaders to set an example by demonstrating a commitment to safety management and the protection of employees’ lives through their actions, thereby conveying the principle of \"dual responsibilities for each position and shared responsibilities between the Party and government\" to lower-level personnel. Employee safety behavior guidelines: 1. Apply the \"Five Thinkings, Five Don’ts\" principle when working on site. 2. Be aware of the emergency exit routes in the area where you are working. 3. Intervene promptly in any unsafe behaviors. 4. Wear seat belts while driving or riding in a vehicle. 5. Pedestrians and vehicles should not run red lights. 6. Hold onto the handrails when going up or down stairs. These are all considered by CNOOC to be the most basic safety behaviors that employees should exhibit, with the aim of encouraging them to adopt the mindset that \"I am responsible for my own safety.\" Standardizing safety signage practices: 1. Safety reminders at meetings; 2. Safety education during on-site activities; 3. Preventive measures for large gatherings; 4. Rules and regulations for travel safety; 5. Duty arrangements to ensure safety during holidays; 6. Guidance and support for the safety of private vehicles. The aim of standardizing these safety signage practices is to implement the principle of \"prevention first\" throughout employees’ daily work and personal lives, extending care for them beyond the 8 hours of work per day.
