Is the waste clay resulting from the clay purification of lubricating oil considered hazardous waste?

Waste kaolin is a by-product resulting from the refining process of kaolin; it adsorbs impurities such as small amounts of gums, asphaltenes, nitrogen compounds, organic acids, solvents, and moisture onto the kaolin, thereby further improving the quality of the recycled base oil, while also carrying along some oil. The pressing method to be used may only extract most of the oil, but can the asphaltene, resins, and other sticky substances adhered to the clay be pressed out as well?
