Regarding the control valve issues in the SIS system

I have a simple question for everyone: do the control valves in SIS systems have to be imported? Can domestic products not meet the requirements?
Strictly speaking, in a SIS system, everything from the field instruments to the control system must have SIL level certification. But things are different in China.
Are there any specific requirements in this regard domestically? What are the consequences of not obtaining SIL certification?

It depends on who makes the decision; the design documents will likely still need to meet high standards.
There are no specific regulations on this matter. Generally speaking, in chemical plants equipped with SIS systems, the configuration and design requirements for such systems are quite stringent. However, there are no specific requirements regarding the valves and primary/secondary instruments on site; it is sufficient for them to meet the relevant valve standards. Yet, if a HAZOP analysis has been conducted on the entire system and SIL requirements apply, then there are SIL requirements for the hardware of the entire system, its design, as well as the primary/secondary instruments and valves on site. In the end, it is necessary to determine whether the entire circuit meets the required SIL level!
If the SIL requirements for the valves in the SIS system are specified in the design documents, does that mean the valves basically have to be imported? !
If domestic valves have a SIL certification, that is also sufficient! Let the owner consider everything comprehensively! Note: In my opinion, there are several foreign agencies that offer SIL certification at present; it’s difficult to determine their actual capabilities and the standards they use in the certification process. Generally, TUV certifications are considered more authoritative!
