(4) Clamp-connected valves: The valve body has clamping jaws for connecting to pipes via clamps. (5) Socket-connected valves: Connected to pipes using a socket connection. (6) Clamp-connected valves: A connection method in which the valve and the pipes at both ends are directly clamped together using bolts. 8. Classification by valve body material: (1) Metal material valves: Their valve bodies and other components are made of metal materials.
