The exit temperature of the waste heat boiler in our hydrogen production plant is high. The process is as follows: demineralized water passes through a heat exchanger before going to the steam drum; the demineralized water at the bottom of the steam drum then exchanges heat with the converted gas coming from the boiler outlet, thereby reducing the temperature of the converted gas. The exit temperature of the boiler remains within the specified limits as before. At that time, the temperature of the converted gas after passing through the waste heat boiler was also within the specified limits. However, recently, the temperature of the converted gas after heat exchange exceeds the specified limits. We’re not sure what the cause is
Or the plug valve that controls the air intake has failed
They said there’s a leak upstairs, but that can’t be right; the temperature of the converted gas has increased now. If there were indeed a leak, the temperature should decrease instead. I think it’s probably the plug valve of the waste boiler that’s stuck, which prevents it from closing properly; we’ve encountered this issue here before.
You should check whether the opening degree of the plug valve is normal
