The water circulation vacuum pump in the factory has passed all inspections, but it fails to achieve the desired vacuum level. Seeking guidance! ! ! Too anxious
Check the liquid level in the separation tank; it should not be too high above the pump body, nor too low! Also, the temperature of the water shouldn’t be too high; if it is, the water will vaporize and the vacuum level won’t increase

If the previous points are all fine, then it’s due to insufficient pumping capacity of the pump – in other words, the appropriate model for the pump was not chosen. I’ve also only been working with vacuum pumps for a short time! We use a vacuum pump system consisting of two-stage Roots pumps plus a liquid ring pump, which can achieve an absolute pressure of 0.5 kPa; there might be some inaccuracies in what I’ve said! Did it appear suddenly, or did the pressure gradually build up? Water ring pumps generally fail to generate negative pressure due to either too high or insufficient water levels; if both the water level and temperature are normal, then there is no problem. Then contact the maintenance department to have it disassembled for maintenance or to check the system’s airtightness.
Water ring pumps inherently have low vacuum levels, are not corrosion-resistant, and require wastewater treatment. It is recommended that you use dry screw pumps as a replacement for water ring pumps or water ring Roots pumps, as they offer higher vacuum levels, are corrosion-resistant, and do not cause pollution
It is necessary to consider the issue from three perspectives. 1. Determine whether the problem with the vacuum pump occurred under normal operating conditions; if so, it can be concluded that there should be no issue with the pump’s selection. 2. The system valves can be closed to check if there is a leak in the system. 3. Both the system temperature and the circulating water temperature affect the vacuum level of the water ring vacuum pump. Also, if this pump is used for a long time, could there be an issue with the impeller? These are basically the key points to determine the issue. "All checks are normal, but no vacuum can be created? It is likely not a leakage or a water temperature issue, but rather caused by low exhaust volume.

Check the water temperature and the exhaust pressure – these two factors are the most likely to cause the entire problem
