The Aquafill expansion tank is an originally imported expansion tank from Italy; what precautions should be taken when using it? 1. The Aquafill expansion tanks leave the factory with a preset pressure already set. Generally, for tanks with a volume of less than 150L, the preset pressure is 1.5 bar, while for tanks of 200L or more, it is 2 bar. If users consider this pressure to be inappropriate, they can adjust the pressure by filling or releasing air under the guidance of the supplier ; 2. When testing the bladder of an Aquafill expansion tank, it is recommended to use water pressure for testing; it is strictly prohibited to touch the bladder with sharp objects ; 3. If the Aquafill expansion tank is to be used in a special environment, the supplier should be informed so that the appropriate membrane can be used ; 4. The working medium in an Aquafill expansion tank is usually a mixture of water and antifreeze; for other mediums, please call for consultation ; 5. The Aquafill expansion tank should have its pre-charge pressure checked regularly; if a drop in pressure is detected, air should be added promptly to prevent impairment of its proper functioning ; 6. The tank body label of the Aquafill expansion tank indicates the operating temperature and maximum operating pressure; it is strictly prohibited to use it outside these limits. 7. The size of the expansion tank required must be calculated strictly in accordance with the formulas; an expansion tank that is too small can cause the safety valve to activate frequently as well as the automatic water refill valve to fill the tank repeatedly ; 8. The maximum operating pressure of the Aquafill expansion tank corresponds one-to-one with the pre-charge pressure indicated on its tank body. If the pre-charge pressure is changed due to operational requirements, the maximum operating pressure will change as well, following this general rule: as the pre-charge pressure decreases, the maximum operating pressure also decreases; the exact amount of decrease requires calculation. If the pre-charge pressure increases, the maximum operating pressure remains unchanged. 9. The pre-charge pressure of the Aquafill expansion tank should be checked every 6 months; if insufficient pressure is detected, it should be topped up promptly.
