Issues regarding pipe supports in petrochemical plants

Hello everyone: In petrochemical plants, for the pipe supports of the process pipes in pipe racks, welding them directly to the pipes is not used in many cases these days. Is there any mandatory requirement in this regard, or are it the individual companies that decide on such practices? Thank you all!
Why isn’t anyone discussing it? It’s cold outside; what are everyone going to do?
There are standard regulations for this; check the name of the standard catalog provided by the designer in the design documents, and search online for the relevant standards to learn more about them.
