For the renovation of the storage tank, an on-site level gauge needs to be added – what is the most convenient way to do this?
Depending on the medium, one can choose a glass plate or a magnetic flap level gauge (which can be installed on top of or beside the glass plate). It is important to pay attention to issues such as the density of the float medium.

This tank renovation of yours must already be in use! The properties of the internal materials aren’t mentioned either! If there is a spare port, you can choose a differential pressure type, glass type, or magnetic flap type gauge; if there is no spare port and welding is not allowed, then try an external-mounted level gauge!
The storage tank is a finished oil tank; the problem is that there is no dedicated access port available at present, so it’s not possible to empty the oil from inside the tank. Therefore, I was wondering if there is any convenient solution, preferably one that does not require welding. Of course, it would be best if the liquid level could be seen from the bottom of the tank; climbing to the top of the tank to check it is a bit tiring.
