Dear experts, I would like to know about the process configurations of large-scale coal-to-methanol plants in China with a capacity of over 900,000 tons. For example: how many series are there in the gasification unit (with each furnace counted as one series), and what is the configuration for the conversion unit? Series: Purify to? What is the synthesis of the series? Series. . . . . .
For units with a capacity of less than 1 million tons, gasification usually involves 3 units in operation and 1 as backup, while for conversion, low-pressure washing, and synthesis, one set is sufficient. For units with a capacity of over 1 million tons, gasification requires 5 or 6 units in operation and 2 as backup; again, two sets are needed for conversion, low-pressure washing, and synthesis
