Different raw materials and processing methods have a significant impact on the olefins in diesel. In straight-run diesel and hydrogenated diesel, the olefin content is very low, while that in catalytically cracked diesel is moderate. Coker diesel has the highest olefin content. However, the specific olefin content needs to be determined through actual analysis. Except for straight-run diesel, other diesel fractions must be hydrogenated before they can be blended.
