The first low-pressure waste heat boiler in our plant is used to produce saturated steam at 1.27 MPa. It has now been discovered that the waste boiler is leaking. Has anyone in your plants experienced leaks from waste boilers? How should such leaks be dealt with? What are the acceptable levels of CO and H2S in the steam generated by the waste boiler for safe operation? Any leakage must be repaired, regardless of the amount of leakage; otherwise it poses significant safety risks to the units that use steam, as well as leading to unnecessary repairs.
Agree with the suggestion above: 1. The leakage of flammable gases into the steam system poses a serious threat to the safety of any work involving hot work on the steam pipelines; 2. Affecting the condensation efficiency of the steam system ; 3. Reduce the pH value of the steam and condensate systems.

It has been confirmed that there is a leak; the steam generated by the faulty boiler should be released immediately, and it should not be fed into the main steam system. If it is possible without affecting production, the faulty boiler should be isolated and its tube bundle replaced. How did you determine that the waste pot is leaking?
