At 4 p.m. on November 27, the headquarters in charge of the \"11·24\" accident at Fengcheng Power Plant announced that Shang Wenxiang, the representative of the contractor for Phase III of Fengcheng Power Plant’s cooling tower project, namely Hebei Yinen Yantower Engineering Co., Ltd., stated in a media interview that the compensation amount for each victim of the \"11·24\" accident would be 1.2 million yuan. Shang Wenxiang said that the construction company is now in the phase of compensating the families affected. The compensation is provided in strict accordance with the company’s commitments made yesterday, adhering to the principle of offering the highest possible amount of compensation without going below that level. In accordance with relevant policies and regulations, and after thorough consultation with the family members, the amount was finally determined to be 1.2 million yuan. To ensure that the compensation is disbursed promptly, we reached an agreement with the family members to open a bank account in Fengcheng so as to guarantee timely payment of the compensation.
