The pilot-operated safety valve experiences intermittent exhaust from the pilot valve in winter

As the title suggests, we have a pilot-operated safety valve that experiences intermittent exhaust from its pilot valve during winter. It is used on a high-pressure nitrogen pipeline, with a set pressure of 8.8 MPa. Starting last month, as temperatures dropped to around -10°C, intermittent exhaust from the pilot valve occurred; however, no sound of the safety valve opening was heard on site, and the control room also confirmed that the pressure did not increase. I would like to ask if anyone knows of other possible reasons that could cause the pilot valve to exhaust
Personally, I think either the pilot safety valve has activated, but the discharge volume is very low~~ or the spring of the control valve has lost some of its elasticity, resulting in a decrease in the set pressure; temperature fluctuations are likely to be a factor here~~
I’ve run into this problem too. Are there any good solutions?
