On November 30, Changling Refining & Chemical Co., Ltd. conducted a drill on the emergency response plan for leaks in the oil pipeline running from the factory site to the Yangtze River dock, in collaboration with the local authorities. To ensure safe production in winter, the Oil Port Operations Department of Changling Refining & Chemicals has formulated and improved various safety management measures in accordance with the requirements for identifying potential hazards in oil and gas pipelines. It has organized joint training exercises involving personnel responsible for gas elimination and prevention, process equipment, and operational tasks, in order to enhance the accident prevention awareness and handling capabilities of staff at all positions. The drill simulated a situation in which, while a diesel pipeline was transporting diesel to the Changzhou-Zhuzhou refined oil terminal, a leak occurred at the pipe support adjacent to the laboratory; the leaked diesel spread across the ground. “After the “accident” occurred, each rescue team, in accordance with its responsibilities, quickly mobilized its members to arrive at the scene and carry out rescue operations in an orderly manner. With the joint efforts of the local authorities, the fire department, and various teams, the \"emergency\" was brought under control. After the drill, Changling Refining and Chemical Processing conducted a summary of the entire exercise, provided feedback on the issues encountered by various teams, and emphasized the importance of safe production in winter. It required all relevant units to implement measures for safe production during winter, to enforce strict inspection protocols and work permit systems at the work sites, and to step up efforts to identify potential hazards in order to ensure the safe operation of oil pipelines.
