Do all the 2BE1 series water ring vacuum pumps have flexible valve plates? What material is it made of?
Yes, they are all available in the 2BE series; the valve plate material is polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)
Can this be made by oneself using PTFE sheets?
Yes, it’s possible to cut it out with scissors, but you need to use the original shape as a guide... Most of the factories in Zibo buy PTFE sheets and then cut them out themselves with knives……
I know all too well that when a pump is disassembled, it ends up with lots of cuts and scratches; it looks really ugly. Why not just make it look neater?
