Is it necessary to install a filter at the gas holder inlet?

We are a refinery; is it necessary to install a filter at the inlet of the gas holder? I would appreciate guidance from those with experience in this area; thank you!
Although it’s not a refinery, I still think a filter needs to be installed.
A liquid separation tank is generally provided at the inlet of the gas holder. There is a filter from the gas holder outlet to the compressor inlet.
Set up filters and other things to block it. It’s about right to set the washing mode.
I have seen the designs for gas tanks in several design firms; some of them include filters at the inlet of the gas tanks, while others do not.
