I would like to ask the experts for help: I have a reciprocating compressor manufactured by Wuxi Compressor Factory, and there is a problem with its crosshead. One of the bushings on the crosshead is loose, which causes friction with the small end bearing of the connecting rod. Is there any solution if I decide not to replace the crosshead but only the bushing? The bushing has been replaced once; after running for a few days, it became loose again.
It’s not the small-head bearing that’s loose; it’s the bushing at one end of the cross-head that’s loose.
