Underground buildings, subway stations, and garages: 2 hours. Civil air defense facilities: Those with a construction area of 3000㎡ or more require a protection time of 2 hours, while those with an area less than 3000㎡ require 1 hour. Code for Fire Protection Design 3.6.4: The fire endurance time of fire separation water curtains and protective cooling water curtains used for fire separation within a building shall not be less than the fire resistance rating of the wall at the location where such water curtains are installed. According to 5.0.11 of the «Code for Design of Automatic Sprinkler Systems», unless otherwise specified in this code, the continuous water supply time for an automatic sprinkler system shall be set such that it is not less than 1 hour, corresponding to the duration of the fire.
