How is zinc monoxide priced, with a zinc content of 30% and lead content of 50%?
With such high lead content, this can’t be considered sub-zinc oxide, right? It has a higher lead content in its ash than that of our reduction furnaces. The pricing for this product depends on who you sell it to; it is recommended to sell it to ISP smelting companies, where both lead and zinc can be valued accordingly. If zinc oxide is sold on a per-use basis with only the price of zinc considered, you certainly won’t be willing to do that.
For example, if the price of zinc is 22,000 per ton and its content is 30%, then you add your own costs to this amount on a percentage basis; let’s say it’s 60%. In that case, the gross cost per ton of zinc would be 22,000*60. Since the zinc content is 30%, it would be 22,000*0.6*0.3. I’m not sure if my calculation is correct; please advise me
With such high lead levels, it’s better to call it lead oxide powder and use it as a ingredient in the reverberatory furnace; there’s no point in putting it into the zinc processing system – it generates too much slag and is very troublesome
