At present, the silicon content in the saturated steam from our boiler remains consistently high. The indicator is ≯20. The measured value is >100. Sodium level is normal <15. The boiler feed pump supplies water to five steam drums simultaneously, and the saturation steam parameters of the remaining four are all normal. The drum pH is 10, the conductivity is 100–500, and the phosphate level is 5–15. All are within the limits. The drum liquid level is 50; it is not too high. Despite multiple blowdown and replacement cycles, the silicon content in the water of the drum boiler remains high. Please, fellow sailors, help analyze what the reason is.
Pollutants have previously entered the water supply system. As a result, the steam in all drum boilers exceeded the standards. However, through waste discharge replacement, the quality of the saturated steam in the remaining drum tanks is satisfactory, except for one which remains substandard.
