According to the information I’ve seen, the reaction temperature of a converter is determined by first calculating the Kp of the reaction (the chemical equilibrium constant), and then using a formula to find the temperature corresponding to that Kp value, which is the temperature of the converter. My question now is that two reactions occur in the converter; which Kp value should be used to calculate the corresponding reaction temperature? Do we still need to combine the two reactions?
