Only by fully understanding the common performance parameters of hydraulic pump stations can one choose and use them more effectively. The common performance parameters related to pressure in hydraulic pump stations are as follows: 1. Rated pressure. Under normal operating conditions, when the hydraulic pump runs continuously and properly, it can maintain the highest pressure permitted by the normal operating conditions. The rated pressure is determined based on the design of the equipment, its material composition, and various other comprehensive factors; it must be lower than this value during the operation of the hydraulic pump station ; II. Maximum allowable pressure. That is, the highest pressure that the hydraulic pump can output ; III. Work pressure. It refers to the pressure output by the hydraulic pump station in actual operation, also known as the outlet pressure of the hydraulic pump. This pressure is determined by the load on the hydraulic pump station. Work pressure increases or decreases depending on the level of load ; IV. Inlet pressure. Contrary to the discharge pressure, the pressure at the inlet of the hydraulic pump is known as the suction pressure; for self-priming pumps, this pressure value is lower than atmospheric pressure. The suction pressure must not be too low; if it is, insufficient oil absorption will occur, leading to cavitation.
