According to the original building codes, when the higher outer wall of two adjacent factories serves as a fire wall, there is no limit on the required fire separation distance; however, this distance should be no less than 4 meters between factories of Class A. Does this mean that Class A factories must be at least 4 meters apart from other Class A factories, or does it mean that Class A factories must be at least 4 meters apart from all other types of factories? Is it feasible to have Class A factories adjacent to Class B, Class C, Class D, etc. factories, with a fire wall installed in between?
