First of all, one needs to have the ability to assess ordinary accidents; safety training in companies is essential, as well as some basic knowledge regarding various hazards and such. If it’s a minor accident, deal with it promptly; cut off the power supply, gas supply, etc., as long as safety is ensured ; In the case of more serious accidents, it’s necessary to report them first and deal with them accordingly; one shouldn’t risk their own life. Safety comes first; any accident should be handled in a way that ensures one’s own safety.
Rescue operations should give top priority to the safety of personnel and their rescue. In emergency response, it is necessary to categorize the injured based on the cause of their injuries, the nature of any toxins involved, and the severity of poisoning, giving priority to those who are more severely poisoned or in poorer health conditions for rescue and detoxification treatment.
I’ll talk about a few types of special equipment: Tower cranes are commonly used on construction sites, and they are prone to accidents such as tipping over, broken arms, and broken cables; once such an accident occurs, it can easily result in injuries to many people. In the event of such an accident, the power supply must be cut off immediately, the crowd evacuated, and the site as well as the surrounding area (including high-voltage lines) inspected promptly. If there are people trapped at the scene, they should be rescued quickly using jacks or winches to prevent further injuries and electric shock. Protect the site carefully; if the tower body, tower arms, counterweights, etc. press against buildings, any potential hazards such as suspension or swinging must be eliminated promptly. (2) Bridge-gate cranes are prone to accidents such as electric shock, collisions between two cranes, and the falling of hook loads. Gantry cranes are susceptible to incidents like sliding due to strong winds, being toppled over, being lifted at an angle, and injuries caused by heavy objects. Mobile cranes are prone to accidents resulting from inadequate crane foundations or the collapse of support feet, which can lead to overturning or broken arms. In the event of an accident, the power supply must be cut off immediately, the situation at the accident site assessed, measures taken, and the injured rescued as quickly as possible. 2. Emergency procedures for elevator accidents: (1) Contact the injured person, calm their emotions, and have them wait for rescue. (2) Quickly enter the machine room to cut off the main power supply, and activate the emergency power supply as well as the power for emergency lighting and ventilation. (3) Professionals without an emergency electric rescue device (2 or more persons) use a manual winch for rescue purposes to move the cabin slowly to the desired floor, and then open the doors using the manual lock on the hall doors to release the people inside. (4) In the event of finger entanglement in escalators (walkways), items getting caught on the steps and skirt panels, electric shocks, or severe step collapse that traps people, the power supply should be cut off immediately and those who can move should be evacuated. (5) Provide first aid on the scene and transport the injured to the hospital promptly.
In chemical production, from raw materials and intermediates to finished products, there are often chemical hazards such as flammability, explosiveness, and toxicity.
