When the burial depth is sufficient, should LNG pipelines be buried directly or in trenches?
You may refer to the standard – GB 51156-2015 Code for Design of Liquefied Natural Gas Reception Stations
It seems that burying it makes it difficult to ensure insulation; how should the moisture barrier be created? Is there any precedent for this?

Is the natural gas in the gas pipelines used in factories always in a liquefied state?
First, what is the insulation method for your LNG pipelines? Is the temperature of -164 degrees Celsius maintained using insulating foam, foam material, or vacuum insulation? In the case of insulation materials like foam, how can the issue of reduced insulation effectiveness be addressed when they are buried directly? For vacuum insulation, the outer tube is made of stainless steel, but the issue of subsequent evacuation and maintenance also needs to be taken into consideration. Also, is the connection method for vacuum insulated tubes flange connection or welding connection, and is there a risk of leakage? I think it’s unreasonable to state those things directly.
