By how much lower than the lowest ambient temperature must the freezing point of the material inside the pipeline be to allow insulation alone without the need for heating?
This requires heat dissipation calculations; there is no fixed value
The freezing point of the material is lower than the lowest temperature of the surrounding environment; moreover, when intermittent operation is carried out without proper drainage measures or over long transmission distances, heating is required
We also need to check the absolute lowest temperature in BEDD.
