GB/T 32808-2016 Sealing surface H: Iron-based stainless steel； JB-T 308-2014: For sealing H: 13Cr series stainless steels. The definitions of the two standard H values are different; how do people handle this situation? Which standard should be followed?
In my humble opinion, for design purposes, one should refer to the standards set by the Ministry of Machinery; the same applies to national standards
13Cr stainless steel is also a type of iron-based stainless steel. The 13Cr series can meet the requirements of two standards, but the actual choice depends on the conditions of the factory
308 is relatively early; in the general valve industry, 308 is basically the standard, while the national standard variant is rarely used
Which one of these 32808s is in use? All use 308
