What is the difference between the material code and abbreviation on the pipeline instrument flow chart? For example: there is a logo on the flow chart: 10”-WS-40106- What does the WS inside mean? The material code WS represents waste residue, and the abbreviation WS represents water source. How should they be distinguished?
The material codes are different for different production processes. You can refer to HG/T20519.1-2009.
Many details can be distinguished. For example, the material must be 304 or 316, the waste water is generally carbon steel, and the anti-corrosion insulation can also be seen. A set of Pid generally does not represent different media with the same code name.
The water source cannot represent materials. When it represents materials, it is waste residue.
