In the past, when foreigners installed the units for us, it was sufficient for the bolts to pass through the bolt holes in a free state, without any external force being applied.
When connecting flanges, the flange sealing surfaces and gaskets should be inspected for any defects such as scratches or rust that could affect the sealing performance； To ensure the sealing of the flange, gaskets cannot be reused ； The flanges at both ends of the pipe segment should be aligned in the same center, and the bolt holes must be aligned properly; forced alignment is not allowed. According to ASME PCC-1-2010 requirements, the lateral misalignment error of the flange faces shall be ≤ 1.5 mm, the difference between the maximum and minimum distances between the flange faces shall be ≤ 0.8 mm, and the distance between the flange faces shall not exceed the thickness of 2 gaskets.
