Valve core leakage – what does that mean by leakage? The latest stop valve has been opening and closing frequently. Perhaps for this reason, the liquid came from the valve stem; since it was thought that the part in question was completely damaged, it was logically assumed that the valve core was broken. But then, was it okay to tighten the packing with a wrench? ? ? What is the reason for this? ?
A leak due to loose packing can be fixed; it’s not a serious issue. Just re-press the packing during maintenance.

The packing under the valve stem gland is not properly compressed; tighten the gland again.
