When installing both a ball valve and a globe valve on a pipeline, which one should be placed closer to the pressure area?
For the liquid phase, ball valve； For the gas phase, a stop valve.
Globe valves have better temperature and pressure resistance than stop valves, but their sealing performance is poorer. The ball valve is the opposite. Therefore, the stop valve is located near the equipment; when shutting it down, the stop valve should be closed first. When starting up, open the ball valve first.
