There is currently a pressure pipeline made of GC1, with chloromethane as the medium, and a design pressure of 1.8 MPa. 1. According to GB50235, pneumatic testing can be used for the strength testing of pipes with a pressure of less than or equal to 0.6 MPa. 2. According to SH3501, the pressure strength test pressure shall not exceed 1.6 MPa. 3. The medium is flammable and highly toxic; a leakage test shall be conducted in accordance with SH3501. The test pressure is the design pressure of the pipeline, namely 1.8 MPa. I would appreciate some advice from the experts: for items 2 and 3, doesn’t this pressure value create a contradiction?
