Do concentrated sulfuric acid pipes need insulation?

The situation is as follows: the sulfuric acid transport pipelines in our department are not used on a continuous basis, but only intermittently. The management has decided to install insulation to prevent the pipelines from being exposed to direct sunlight for long periods when they’re not in use, which could lead to increased temperatures and greater corrosion of the pipelines. I would like to ask if this could be the cause of a leak in acid pipes, and also how to provide insulation – should it be covered with rubber or plastic foam? Did it work after being done?
Insulating material, right? Stainless steel pipes will have an effect in this regard, after all, the temperature won’t rise too much
We carry out anti-freezing treatments here to prevent crystallization of concentrated sulfuric acid at low temperatures
In the south, it doesn’t crystallize even in winter
It is recommended to maintain heat to prevent sulfuric acid from crystallizing due to cold weather; this also serves as an insulating measure.
