Proper use of wave compensators (1) Use fixed supports to divide the pipeline into separate units that are safe, reliable, and easy to compensate for. (2) During the installation of the linear units, it is necessary to ensure the straightness of the pipelines, and the fixing brackets must have sufficient stiffness and strength. In general, the vast majority of failures in straight pipelines are caused by unreliable fixed supports. (3) For L-shaped, Z-shaped, and п-shaped units, it is necessary to appropriately select compensators such as hinge-type, large tie-rope type, and hinge-type large tie-rope type, taking into account the effect of additional displacement. (4) In situations where the load-bearing requirements of fixed supports cannot be met, such as in indoor pipelines, turbine systems, condensers, fans, and other applications where the forces acting on the pipe connections are limited, a bypass-type pressure-balancing compensator can be used. These include straight-tube with three bellows pressure-balancing types, large-link types, hinge types, and other compensators that do not generate any pressure thrust. (5) For equipment that requires extremely low stress, precise calculations can be used to generate an unbalanced pressure thrust of adjustable magnitude in the opposite direction by a pressure-balancing compensator, so as to counteract the elastic force and frictional force and achieve a fully balanced pipeline system; this represents a new approach.
