Regarding argon and nitrogen pipeline issues

Everyone, the factory needs argon and nitrogen, mainly for welding purposes. The pressure is generally between 0.2 and 0.3 MPa. I would like to ask if there are any special requirements for these two types of pipes? 1. Must it be a seamless tube made of stainless steel or hot-dip galvanized steel? 2. Can pipes be connected by welding or threading? 3. Are other devices needed in the workshop to monitor oxygen levels?

Generally, nitrogen and argon have favorable dew points; to maintain these levels, stainless steel or carbon steel pipes are used for transportation in order to avoid secondary contamination due to dew points. If no requirements regarding dew points exist, any type of pipe can be used, including aluminum-plastic pipes. :Lol, 2 – welding or threaded connection are both fine; a collar connection can also be used. 3. According to process requirements, oxygen content monitoring should be installed at the gas usage point; it can be used or not, with regular inspections being sufficient
Judging from what the poster said, it seems to be gas used in welding workshops; such workshops are equipped with ventilation systems, so oxygen levels don’t need to be monitored
