Can PPH pipes be used to transport toluene? Is it anti-static?

This post was last edited by sukisyo on 2017-9-5 at 16:37. The Fuchs reaction is carried out in a workshop; the solvent used for transferring materials is toluene. Anhydrous aluminum chloride is used as a catalyst, and the environment is highly acidic. Toluene means that PP pipes cannot be used. Due to the strong acidity, carbon steel and 304 steel are also unsuitable. Some people have recommended PPH pipes, but can such pipes prevent static electricity?

The antistatic properties of PPH pipes do need to be taken into consideration
Paragraph 4.1.8 of SH/T 3161-2021, \"Technical Specifications for Non-metallic Pipes in Petrochemical Industries,\" stipulates that non-metallic pipes shall not be used for transporting flammable media. So PPH pipes cannot be used.
