Is there a standard for the tag numbers of control valves, shut-off valves, etc. in PID? For example, are shut-off valves always denoted as XV----?
If you are the owner, each project PID diagram has a title page that provides detailed explanations of the symbols and numbers. If you are from a design institute, each institute has its own implementation standards; all you need to do is obtain the relevant documents when communicating with colleagues in the same field.
