The double-eccentric ball valve, also known as the eccentric rotary valve, features contact and friction between the valve ball and the valve seat at a certain angle during opening and closing; this specific angle depends on the manufacturer’s specifications, and is generally around 10 degrees. The triple-eccentric ball valve features no friction between the ball and the seat throughout the process of opening and closing; as a result, the torque required for opening and closing is lower, and its service life is longer.
