What is the difference between flanged butterfly valves and triple-eccentric butterfly valves?
The two are not the same concept. Flange type refers to the connection method, while triple eccentricity refers to the internal structure.
Butterfly valves are commonly available in lug-type, wafer-type, and flange-type versions; this classification is based on the way the valve is connected. Depending on their structure, butterfly valves can be divided into center-type and eccentric-type valves. Eccentric-type valves can further be categorized into single-eccentric, double-eccentric, triple-eccentric, and quadruple-eccentric butterfly valves
One is the connection method, and the other is the structural form; they are distinct concepts. Flanged butterfly valves also come in three-eccentric types.
