The pump noise has increased

Our company has just installed 2 vortex pumps, which are equipped with return pipelines behind them. After the pump starts, when the return flow is fully open, the pump operates with very little noise; however, as the return flow is gradually reduced, the noise from the pump increases. I don’t know why
It might be that the pressure at the pump outlet is too high, causing loud vibration noises
A loud sound is a relative term, referring to the operating condition of equipment under normal circumstances. If the load changes, the sound also has to change. It’s best to check whether it’s normal by looking at the vibration. Another factor is whether, after being used for a period of time, it no longer meets the operating requirements of the pump.
