Connection of inlet and outlet pipes of magnetic pump

Help: The magnetic pump 20CQ-12 has an inlet of 20 mm and an outlet of 12 mm; the connection is made using pipes. How should these pipes be connected?
Flange connection, or threaded connection
I don’t know; I looked up this model online. It says \"pipe connection\" for small diameters and \"flange connection\" for large diameters. I’ve never heard of a pipe connection
It’s a very small magnetic pump; take a photo of it and take a look. I think it’s a connection between a hose and a flange.
Pipe connections are probably threaded connections, or maybe flexible joint connections.
