Could someone please give some guidance? What is inside the pipes in the diagram? Are there any guidelines? It looks a bit like π.
I’ve never seen it; I guess it’s a gas collection bag, similar to a downward-facing liquid seal
It can be seen on natural gas transmission pipelines; I think it serves a compensatory purpose, but I’m not sure what standards govern this
Those two end cap positions are meant for future use as branch lines, I guess. . .
