I am looking for the user manual for the ZT-50/100CD trenchless pipe-laying drill. Many sections of the drill pipe are connected by threads rather than hinges; the drill pipe is rigid. When drilling into the ground, the drill bit forms an acute angle with the horizontal plane. So, by drilling at this inclined angle downward, doesn’t it mean that one will drill deeper and deeper? How is it possible to drill down 4 or 5 meters and then move horizontally, before drilling back up to the surface? How is the accompanying Digitrak lunar eclipse guider used? But is the drill bit’s position monitored in real time? How do you read the clock face angles? The starting point is the reference point, right? How to determine it? Under what circumstances is specialized mud needed? What is the purpose of specialized mud?
Is it the so-called horizontal directional drilling?
