The ball valve has been stuck due to the accumulated slurry; could someone please advise on how to deal with this in a simple and effective way? Thank you
Can the cylinder torque be increased directly?

Increasing the torque will only force the ball valve to open and close, and the seal will be damaged quickly. You can take a look at our coaxial valves. https://bbs.hcbbs.com/thread-1320253-1-1.html is suitable for media containing impurities or solid powders and particles, such as slurry with slag and debris. For a medium like yours that can solidify, a dust removal ring should be added.
Turn the ball valve on and off a few times from time to time to allow it to clean itself; there’s really no other solution. If that doesn’t work, use a plug valve, as there won’t be any buildup with it
It’s a fixed ball valve, right? Fixed balls are not suitable for such applications
Just clean the sealing surface properly; it’s okay if there is a layer of dust in the cavity. 1. For this operating condition, it is recommended to use a centerline hard-sealed ball valve for easier cleaning. 2. Special disc valves are used, ensuring a long service life.
In media where solid substances precipitate, do not use soft-sealed ball valves; instead, use hard-sealed ball valves. V-type hard-sealed ball valves are better. If the diameter is large and the pressure is not high, a highly wear-resistant soft-sealed butterfly valve can also be used
The wrong valve was selected; the appropriate valves are hemispherical valves or V-ball valves. It is best to use a V-ball valve; the half-ball valve has an eccentric structure, and the ball of a V-ball valve features V-shaped notches. V-ball is suitable for pulps in paper mills, sugar factories, etc.; the medium it is used with is viscous and contains a small amount of particles. If you have any doubts, feel free to contact me
Clean it thoroughly and then use it; increase the pressure of the gas supply
You have chosen the wrong type of medium; using our slurry valve will prevent such problems from occurring
