““PIPE STD WT SMLS STL A53-B / API-5L” – For this, should it be understood as: seamless steel pipe, standard wall thickness, material A53-B, manufactured in accordance with API-5L? Or should it be interpreted as: seamless steel pipe, standard wall thickness, material either A53-B or API-5L? I’m not sure after seeing it mentioned in a previous purchase request. . . I’m asking for everyone’s help
Seamless steel pipes, standard wall thickness; material can be A53-B or API-5L, depending on the specifications. For lengths over 12", the wall thickness is 9.53 mm
Understanding: Seamless steel pipe, standard wall thickness, material A53-B; manufactured in accordance with API-5L. API 5L is further divided into two grades: PSL1 and PSL2.
A53-B / API-5L means it meets the requirements of Grade B as specified in the ASME A53 standard, as well as the requirements of the API 5L standard.
