The medium is nitrogen, and the pressure needs to be reduced from 0.6–0.7 MPA to 0.2 MPA. Just use a Globe control valve – such low pressure, it’s so simple!
If flow regulation is not required, a self-acting pressure reducing valve can be chosen directly. If flow regulation is required, choose a control valve.

The pressure regulator referred to in the question is likely one that offers greater ease of operation – after all, electric pressure regulators can control flow and pressure values, as well as have a shut-off function. Self-acting pressure regulators can also achieve precise control over the outlet flow rate in real time. The price you mentioned is probably the unit price of each of these two types of products. Considering the differences between the two products, I don’t think this price comparison is very representative
Self-acting control valves are quite good
