It looks a bit like a downward-opening discharge valve; you can search for it on your own! The working principle is that the stem, that column, is used to control the switch at the outlet on the right side!
Discharge valves, available in upper and lower types, used at the bottom of the tank. It can also be used as a drain valve
The bottom valve ensures that there is no material accumulation, thus guaranteeing proper reaction of the materials inside the tank.
The valve used for sampling during discharge controls the size of the discharge opening through the movement of its stem piston.
