Are there any forum members who are familiar with the relevant American standards related to Ti? (What are the differences between the ASTM B265, 861, and 381 standards? What does the ‘S’ in SB-265 stand for?) What are the differences between the specifications for material GR 2 and those for national standards Ti1 and Ti2?
861 refers to pipes, 265 refers to sheets, and 381 refers to forgings. The pressure vessel standard is marked with an ‘s’ in front of it; currently, the American standard and the national standard TI2 are identical
